Karaka
A handsome coastal tree. Large, glossy, dark green leaves and conspicuous orange fruits which smell like apricots in summer. The Karaka's tolerance of wind and salt spray makes it useful as a shelter tree. Sensitive to frosts when young. Can be grown in tubs.
