This tree is most attractive as a specimen or as a hedge plant. The long leaves are pale green and aromatic. Flowers are lemon yellow, attractive to bees and sweetly scented. Younger trees have a conical shape.

Pittosporum tenuifolium
Kohuhu
A small tree which hybridises readily, resulting in plants with very variable foliage. Some may have very small wavy leaves, whilst others are longer and smoother. Leaf colour is also very varied. Very useful for revegetation, hedging and as a specimen. The sweet scent of the dark red flowers is particularly noticeable in the evening
