Swamp-weed, Bonking-grass
A creeping herb forming large, grass-like patches. White flowers appear over a long period. This ground cover tolerates salty conditions but also is a good inland plant. It is found naturally throughout New Zealand, in coastal, salty marshes, turf banks, dune hollows. Has a finer leaf than the more coastal variety Selliera radicans ‘Farewell spit’.
Works well as a grass alterative.
